I rent a 2 car garage for a classic car. Sadly the elderly lady passed away. I pay month to month and pay once every two months. I have already paid for jan thru feb 2011. My question is how long does the son have to give me legally before I have to actually move out.

2). If I go ahead and pay for march / april 2011 and he cashes my check, am I safe until the end of april even if he sells the house ?
Or can the new buyers boot my butt as soon as the contract is signed?
should I write anything legally special on the upcoming march april 2011 payment check ?

The son informed me as of this date he HAS listed the house but will keep the real estate salespeople out of the garage until I take inventory. Any worries there ?
The son has gave me his address and told me to send new regular 2 month payments to him.
I live 2 1/2 hrs away now and am hoping I dont have to move till spring !
