I have some birds of the small variety nesting in a barn. I am looking to store vintage and classic cars in the barn soon so am looking at ways of getting rid of them so I dont get poo all over the cars.

I was thinking of hanging a fine meshed netting up to catch the poop but ideally I want to put them off being there in the first place. I think they are swallows or tits.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks
Tommy - I shall try that Tommy. I have seen these around cheaply so its worth giving it a go.

Athiest - Yes the birds are possibly the ones that are a slang word for female breasts or boobies. Mind you the booby bird looks like he was just on his own trapped in the barn at one point. Its the swallows I worry about as some of the cars will have very expensive paint jobs. One of my own vehicles has a satin black finish with no laquer.

Covering the car can be bad for it. The barn has a roof and no windows so im not worried about paint fading from UV and im not worried aout dust. Im just worried about acidic bird sh….lop!

I would pass the birds onto anyone who wants them however they are just a bit out of my reach, I believe the barn is 16ft high at the apex.
