I just received a 1978 Silverado as my first car and my parents have always known I’ve always wanted to restore a classic car.
The truck it’s self is in pretty good shape for being a farm truck for so many years before I my parents bought it, though there is some rust damage from the chemicals on the roads they use during the winter in Colorado.

So, I’m looking into replacing:
Everything under the hood (including engine)
The upholstery
Stereo system
Paint job
Repairing body damage

I was wondering where I should begin with restoring it and if anyone would have an idea how much it would probably be.
