I have been looking at the old muscle cars and I have my heart set on a chevelle. I’m 15 and my parents want to get me my car now so I can start learning on it before I turn 16. I was wondering how it handled, if you preferred this to a newer car? How’s the gas mileage? How much do you think insurance would cost for a 16 year old in Missouri? Manual, or automatic? I’d like to hear any reviews on this car from anyone that had one before. My price range isn’t much $16,000 is probably maximum. Please give me your opinions. I’ve been looking at the early 1970 models.
