In the dream, I drove my dad’s classic car to our downtown small town (I don’t live there anymore and haven’t for 30 years) - the car didn’t look like any car he had owned in his life - it was orange and small. I parked it downtown, but then a group/gang took it over and started to dismantle it. They acted as if they had a right to do so. I kept calling 911, yet no one would pick up. I also kept trying to call my dad, but he did not answer the phone, either.

The gang completely dismantled the car and took it away. I felt helpless.

One of the gang members, a light skinned black guy, said he wanted to speak with me again and he gave me his number. He said his name was Wayne (my dad’s name, too). I took his number as I planned to give it to the police later so they could track down the car. I female member of the gang also gave me her number.

In the end of the dream, I was aware they took the car to “Osceola.” That is a real city in Michigan, my former home state (I no longer live there). I have never been to Osceola.
