finally got myself a classic car to fix up was aiming for a 65 or 66 mustang but everyone seems to have one these days then i stumbled upon a 1969 pontiac firebird,the price was right and the body is in exceptional condition and after seeing some pics of other 69’s on the net i just couldn’t resist,its a project car so between time and money it might take about 2 years before it’s ready to take on the road,so body’s in exceptional condition as i mentioned but theres a little rust /cancer on the top (outside only) any advise on how to stop it from spreading and keeping under control while car is being restored would be appreciated thanks

never fixed up a classic before so if you know any sites or resources where i can find parts and accessories that would also be appreciated thanks

hey :), i just wondered i’m heart set on getting a chevelle 69 or 75 when i’m older to afford one lol but just wanted to know if people still saw them as good cars? because i know a lot of guys know days are always talking about cars such as Ferrari’s, Porsche’s etc but i’m just not really feeling like a vibe from any of modern cars lol when i first saw the classic chevelle 69 i thought it looked amazing and would be an incredible experience to drive and also i’m an studying art and design in college and when i saw it i thought it was a piece of art in it’s own right lol, so what does everyone think? would you say a chevelle 69 to 75 is still a great car to have in the modern day 2011?, thank you

- police come and her and jasper end up having sex in his car

- jasper and rosalie are into really old classic cars

I sprayed WD 40 on the hood springs on my classic chevy and now the hood will not stay up. I contacted WD 40 and was advised to use a degreaser. I did that a couple of times, but the hood still will not stay up. Is there a product I can spray (or otherwise) I can use to tighten those latches without having to completely replace them? Thank you.

I am looking for a 60-70 muscle car(prefereblyy a 1970 Chevelle or 69 Camaro) that I could restore for my my first car. I have lots of car expirience and I think this could be a fun project…. Thanks in advance for the help

what is the name of that type of “stick shift” i know its not a stick shift, its a automatic but what is that type of handle called, ive seen it in some chevelles, is it in only chevelles? and do all of them have it if automatic.

its a nice band, like so much their songs, but didnt like their last 2 albuns as well, liked most second and third album with the old bassist joe loeffler, but also liked their new song from the upcoming nu album, song is face to the floor, hope this album get awesome too!

I was given a Chevelle and am going to fix it up. The problem is that when I opened it up there is mold EVERYWHERE.. seats and all the side paneling. Is this mold dangerous ? Can I just spray the whole interior down with White Vinegar and disinfect it, or am I going to have to replace the entire interior ? Let me know about the health risk and can the mold come back… the car was sitting for 8 years… the mold is white splotchy looking all over the car. Thank you for your help on this.

It’s a modern build w/ a LS6, disc brakes all modern equipment from ground up. Should I go a New chevy color? Maybe the corvette 2011-12 sonic blue?

It has a 2 speed powerglide with a well built 307 making about 300+ hp. It has 3.08 gears stock. I plan to put a posi in it. The question is what would be a good gear that wont kill my mpg and that wont leave me in the dust?
I did forget i will be adding a new torque converter, about 2k stall
