I’m 22 just bought my first classic car, a 1977 buick skylark with a 350 with work already done to it, headers, dual flowmasters, and other stuff. I never really been under a car and want to learn how to upgrade, tune etc and just trying to get some info on where to start cause I don’t want someone else building my car if you know what I’m saying.
Look kali if you need, just put up a add on craigslist. Unless you need someone to tell you that you need to put a ad on craigslist if you need then there no reason you need to post on my needy page cause me and you, different needs. Now does anyone have a better answer then that cause I would hate to see that as the best answer.
Thanks guys, that’s prolly my best bet to grab a chiltons and a seat in a automotive class. I wish I was raised around cars but I guess its never to late to start.

Hi, where can someone buy a salvage classic car in California? Except from auctions, are there any companies, yards or anything from where you can buy one? Also, what are the categories of salvage vehicles in California? Lastly, is there a way to obtain a clear title after certain repairs carried out on the car? thanks

57 Chevy, and I turned on the lights, would anything happen?

Hi everyone. I’m 16, I live in NJ(Provisional License at 17) and I want a good car. My mom wants to give me a 1990 Buick Regal Custom, but I don’t want that, because one transmission is going to need to be fixed soon, is slow, it’s ugly, and paint is also chipping. I want a reliable, and good gas mileage car, that is a sedan(cheaper car insurance), but can be riced out a little and look pretty nice, like a honda civic with tints, rims, and body kit, and exhaust. What’s a good car for me, for maybe 4,000-8,000, if you’re wondering how I’m gunna get the money, got a 72 chevelle ss(402 390 h.p. matching number), left to me by my dad when he passed, but my mom is selling it….thanks
72 chevelle ss is an old man’s car, but it’ll still wreck any ricer out there. I would pull mad bi*t*hes in that. And I am considering a Hyundai Sonata like an 02-06
ricer = OD car(overdone) and it’ll be slightly riced out, but it will be fast, so..

I know where it is and it seems pretty simple to replace but I just want an idea of what I’m doing before I start

I am willing to spend 2500 I don’t need nothing top of the line a 350 crate engine will do. I just will like to know what would be more beneficial for me 1972 Chevelle

Ok so the dad of my mom’s business partner has an all original 66 Dodge Charger for sale. It’s in good shape, and he has ALL the documentation on it from new. Yet he’s apparently having a hard time selling it (he’s asking 11k for it) and from what I’m told it’s in decent condition if not better.
(he could have probably sold it for 3x what he’s asking a few years ago of course)

But basically from what I’ve heard from her craigslist and the autotrader have yeilded nothing but a few sparse/lowball offers. And while I am a fan of muscle/classic cars. My area of expertise is more ford/chevy and I don’t really know enough about mopar to really give her any specific advice past looking for clubs and local car shows to take it to.

So any ideas/help w/ this would be appreciated
I should add that I have tried contacting the local mopar club, but the website is gone, and all numbers I find are old.

Also (if it matters) the car is in San Diego,CA

Does anyone know a good place or person in washington (not dc) that could possibly restore a 1965 Buick Riviera?

i’m selling me classic car and going through pay pal account, but i don’t know what it is.i am registred with pay pal but need account number so the buyer can transfer the funds to my account.
is this a safe way to do the sale??

I have a garage and I’ve put in air bricks etc to make it dryer, but I’d like to know what % humidity is safe and dangerous to prevent corrosion.

I’m seventeen and live with my mum, brothers and baby sister. Lately money has been very tight and so I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions of how to make christmas gifts - not filling a shoebox full of stuff but may be the pattern for a gorgeous rag doll for the baby, you get the idea.. I want the gifts to be something they’d love and maybe even something that could be passed down through generations! I’m willing to try my hand at most crafts..

Christmas is a very important time for us - so the gifts need to mean something, but in a lone-parent family with six kids this can cost!! The older boys love motorbikes, classic cars, playing the electric guitar. The younger boys tend to take their lead but anything a 6-8 year old might like would be good. The baby will be two by Christmas.

Thanks, God bless you xxx
