Im talking about how safe a person would be in a crash compared to the new cars now…

For more specific types i mean like these-
65 continental, 66 impala, 67 mustang, 68 chevelle, 69 charger, etc.

How safe from 1-10

I have a 1968 chevelle malibu with a 350 and would like to know how much it would cost just to install the tranny and shifter and pedals. This does not include parts and all that stuff, I just want to know the cost to put it in.

I have a 1969 Chevelle with a 350 V8 (note: very little of the car is original, so no complaints about modifications, damage was done before I purchased it). I’d like to step up the power some, so swapping in a 400 doesn’t sound like a bad idea. But I’ve never worked on a 400.

How much of what I have on the 350 will move over to the 400 block? I need new pistons, granted, but what about the crankshaft? Are the intake manifolds from a 350 compatible with a 400? What about any of the other internals like the connecting rods or heads? Will I need new exhaust?
This is added after Kevin and HMC Speed.

I know what can be done with a 350, I already have as aggressive cam as I want to go (this is a street machine, not track). So everyone thinks a 400 is just a pricey money sink, what about stroking to a 383?

how do you classify metal music, because i was listening to chevelle closure and my friend recommended mettalica sandman and master of puppets but when you compare the two songs i think closure sounds heavier but mettalica is classified as a heavy metal band and chevelle isnt so is metal determined by something different than how low the sound is.

I got my first car about 3 months ago. Its a black 1972 Chevelle with a mild cam, 3.08 gears for everyday driving, 383 stroker, chrome FOOSE wheels, nitto extreme performance tires, lowered 2 inches in the front, new radio, new tach with gauges. I love this car and I love how well it drives and I also like how good it looks. Its a head turner. However, I want something that I can really have fun with and punch pretty hard so I was thinking a SVT cobra or maybe a 03-10 mustang gt with a supercharger. My dad is in the car business so he actually might keep it but finding a new car and installing a supercharger shouldn’t be hard. But should I switch from old school American Muscle to new school American Muscle? Thanks.

What is the difference between a regular 72 chevelle, and the 72 chevelle Malibu? I have a 72 chevelle with a vinyl top and on the inside of my doors it says Malibu no where else though.
