looking to buy a muscle car, like a v8 nova, chevelle, or skylark. something I can buy for less than 8 grand and put a little work into to become a daily driver… but wondering is with being a 22yr old male how high insurance will be and how often these cars will need repaired? Would it just be easy to get a newer car, like a 99-02 mustang gt or camaro Z28 or possibly a 95-98 240sx with the sr20det??

ok first things first dont tell me anything about insurance i dont care!
im 16 and with the job i have i will have atleast $1000
so i found a lot of camaros for like 1k that needed work but mostly body i have worked on cars before but never a camaro but my dad restored a chevelle or an impala im not sure? so he knows chevys
so my question is can i get a V8 manual camaro that needds work(mainly body work, i ve done it before and wont need a professional) and some interior just not alot of engine cuz then it gets iffy

and then over the course of three years until i got to colege put about 1.5 k in it and end up with a nice car?

o and one more thing i want to paint it black and put white racing strips and white rims on it do you think thats a good color scheme? and ive seen people paint them with spray bombs and then use vinyl racing stripes that cost 100 bucks so dont say *a high quality paint job is 2k-5k* im 16 i dont care about its quality!
